Africa Custom Designs

Today I am sharing my Africa bottle cap necklaces. The images were designed by Becky Burk. Mrs. Burk adopted a little boy from Ethiopia through America World Adoption Association (AWAA). There are three funky designs to choose from. I love them all. Click on the picture for a bigger view. Each necklace comes with a 24-inch chain. The cost is
$5 + $1 S&H per necklace and can be ordered to the left with the PayPal button. 100% of your purchase will be donated to Children's Hopechest to buy shoes for the kids in Ethiopia. If you have questions, you can click on the "Contact Me" button at the bottom of the page.

Peace... Love... Do Good!

  1. HI SAMI! I just wanted to let you know what an AWESOME idea I think this is! You have an amazing heart and are following what God desires EACH one of us to do! He wants us to LOVE OTHERS! Good for you! You have no idea what a positive impact this will have on so many other lives! :o)

I have put your button on my blog so others can come visit your blog! I will totally buy some necklaces in a few days, K? Keep up loving others and loving God!

  2. Hi Sami! So proud of what you're doing! I just ordered a necklace that I will feature as a giveaway on an upcoming blog post. I'd also like to share a little about you/your blog. The only thing I'd really love for you to do is ask your mom if you can send me an e-mail sharing the following:

*Why do you think it's important for your family to adopt?
*What made you decide to start a blog?
*What made you decide to give 100% of your proceeds to Children's Hopechest?
*Anything else you'd like to share.

    Many hugs to you!
    Mrs. Michelle

  3. This is WONDERFUL Samantha! I pray many children are blessed through your efforts here. I know that God is being glorified through your heart of service! We are adopting from Ethiopia as well, and my daughter is excited about receiving this necklace to wear in support of her sister that she hasn't met yet!!! Thank you for your heart of love!

  4. Sami - You make me smile! So excited for your family! Can't wait to see my little girl sporting one of your necklaces! Keep it up - little "Starfish Thrower"! :)

  5. Sami - You are an example for us all! Many blessings upon your endeavor for others. I will be purchasing a necklace shortly. (We just adopted 2 children from Ethiopia - been home for 4 weeks now.)

  6. Hi Sami - My daughter Kristen, who is 13, just picked out one of your Africa necklaces. She also has a lego loving 8 year old brother, and she was able to travel with us to bring home her 4 year Ethiopian brother (plus she has a 15 year old brother, too). I love your heart for the orphans, as does Kristen. I will be passing on this wonderful fundraiser. Amy (another AWAA family).

  8. Sami,
My husband and I live in Columbia, MO with our two little girls. We are in the process of adopting from Ethiopia as well. Jon (my husband) and I work with the middle school kids at our church. Do you mind if I share your story with them? I am hoping to maybe get some of them to buy necklaces from you to support all the great things you are doing with the money. You are an inspiration!
    Liz Horn-

  9. Hello again! I am ready to buy some of your great necklaces, but I have a question.
I would like to buy 3 of the africa with the heart, but I would like 3 different back grounds, since they are for 3 different nieces. Is that possible? I would love the denim background as well as the other 2 that you already have available.
Thanks so much! My sister and her family are missionaries in Kenya, and I wanted to get them those Africa necklaces with the hearts so they will always have my love :)

  10. Missy,

    Thanks - Sami
